In 1901 the premises consisted of a school. Construction and subsequent enlargements had cost £4000. A further £50 had been spent on an organ or other instrument. The chapel seated 900 and the school 320. A Sunday School costong £6000 was added in 1902. The chapel was still in use in 1920
