Stanley Street, Wesleyan Methodist Association Chapel was built in 1831. In 1851 it provided 292 free and 472 other sittings. The building was also used as a day school.

Later Ordnance Survey maps of Sheffield show a Primitive Methodist chapel on the same site. The Primitive Methodists bought this WMA chapel in 1853, as described here and demolished it in 1855 in order to build the chapel described on My Primitive Methodists
