Worksop United Methodist Free Church chapel and the school below were built in 1830 and enlarged in 1837 and 1875. The buildings were of brick and stone. The chapel seated £500 but no building cost were known in 1923. In 1940 the accommodation consisted of a chapel which seated 450 in pews, a school hall and three other rooms
