Retford, Chapelgate United Methodist Free Church chapel

Retford United Methodist Free Church chapel and the adjoining school were built in 1879. They which seated 400 cost of £2120. The organ cost a further £?200. In 1940 the accommodation consisted of a chapel which seated 400 in pews, a school hall and four other rooms. The buildings were of brick and stone. It had been closed by 1970
