Stapleford, Nottingham Road St Paul’s Methodist New Connexion Chapel, Nottinghamshire

Stapleford, Methodist New Connexion Chapel was built of brick around 1880 to replace an older building in Church Walk which was subsequently used as a Sunday school. Building the chapel cost £2200 and the organ a further £250. The adjacent school was built in 1861 and cost £750. The chapel seated 625 in 1901 and 527 in1940. The school seated about 400. The chapel had been closed by 1970 and the buildings were later demolished.
