The New Testament Church of God in 2024 uses a former Methodist New Connexion chapel on New Spring Street, Brookfields.

The building is not on the 1888 map, but is there for the 1902/3 map, when the surrounding area has been developed through terraced housing.

The society features in the 1940 Inventory of Methodist Buildings. It is described as brick built and seating 300 on pews..  There were 2 Sunday school rooms and one other room.  In 1940, the building was in the Birmingham (Edgbaston) circuit and it had suffered war-time damage.

What’s the story?
