Ammerdown Terrace is a stone built row of houses on Terry Hill, south of Radstock, in the parish of Hemington. Towards the eastern end f the terrace is a former United Free Methodist chapel.
The 1940 Inventory of Methodist Buildings records the former chapel, which it calls Hebron. It is described as stone built with seating for 125 on pews. There were no rooms other than the main hall. In 1940, the chapel was in the Radstock circuit.
The 1867 Register of places of Religious Worship does not record a chapel in Terry Hill, or Hemington, but the chapel – and the Terrace – is clearly marked on the 1883 Ordnance Survey map.
