The Dictionary of Methodism tells us that “After occupying several other places, the United Methodist Free Church acquired what they renamed Hope Chapel in Lower Borough Walls in 1866 and moved to a new church at Beechen Cliff in 1913”.
In 2022 the church became part of the multi-site Bath Methodist Church.
