The 1940 Inventory of Methodist buildings contains an entry for Stone Bible Christian chapel, East Pennard. It is recorded as stone built and seating 65 people on pews. Other than the main hall there were no other rooms.
In 1940 it was part of the Somerset Mission circuit.
I cannot find the chapel on old Ordnance Survey maps; in fact I cannot find Stone. Where was the chapel and what happened to it?
