In 2023 the former United Methodist chapel on the road between East and West Harptree is largely in residential use.
It was built in 1866 and rebuilt in 1899 at a cost of £1,500.
The 1940 Inventory of Methodist Buildings contains an entry for the chapel. It is described as stone built, with seating for 166 on pews. In addition to the main hall there was a Sunday school room and 5 other rooms. In 1940 it was in the Radstock Circuit.
Bristol Archives contain records up to 1970, which is probably when the chapel closed.
