Cotehill Chapel had 80 sittings in 1924. A road widening scheme developed in the 1930s required the demolition of the chapel which was closed when the new chapel opened in 1937.
[One of the Wetheral Free Church meeting places recorded in 1851 could well be this building or its predecessor]

While looking for this chapel on the (2025) Streetview, This has gone with a modern dwelling in place. The 2021 & 2009 Streetview does show as the “Cotehill Methodist Church” as was then known.
