  • Maunby United Methodist Free Church chapel was built in 1855, and is recorded as being a UMFC chapel in the 1867 list of registered places of worship. For reasons best know to themselves the compilers of the 1940 survey of Methodist buildings thought it had been a Wesleyan cause. At that time it could accommodate 57 people on pews.
When this photograph was taken in 2012 it was still open as a Methodist church, but a search online reveals that there is a current planning application to convert it into a house.
