Coalville United Methodist Chapel was built of brick and tiles and opened on 14th February 1911. The land had cost £500 and the buildings £550. The premises consisted of a chapel seating 250, a schoolroom and a vestry. In 1940 there was seating in the chapel for 140 on forms. There was also and a schoolroom but no other rooms
