My mother’s family were connected with this chapel and my parents married there in 1942. I see the chapel sadly closed in May 2023. This church was in the former Batley circuit. A stones throw away was a Wesleyan chapel (now a mosque) which was in the neighbouring Dewsbury circuit and closed in the 1950’s
