Lagness is a hamlet between Chichester and Bognor. In 1851 William Hill, the Bible Christian minister in Chichester completed a return for the Religious census. he stated that the chapel had been built in 1840 and could seat 124. There had been services in the afternoon and evening on 30th March, attracting twenty-seven and thirty-two people. In 1867 the building was still registered for Bible Christian worship, but no other written or cartographic evidence for the chapel can be found. Does anyone know the story?
