Brighton, Bedford Street Bible Christian chapel

The second Bible Christian chapel in Brighton was in Bedford Street, and was purchased in 1857. Although larger than Cavendish Street “But here again the insufficiency of accommodation was soon made apparent, and the want of a good Sunday School was sorely felt.”  It was therefore replaced in 1873 by Bristol Road.

The building still existed in commercial use until at least 1994. On the British Methodist buildings site there are photographs by Keith Guyler and Bill Smith
