The current (2021) Southfield Methodist Church is the former Cecil Road Bible Christian Chapel. Along with the adjacent Chapel House it is a Grade II Listed Building; you can see the specification here.
It was initially an independent chapel of 1823 with its caretaker’s house of the 1830s becoming a Bible Christian chapel from 1884

We have been informed by the Torbay Methodist Circuit that the Methodist congregation ‘ceased to meet’ after the Covid lockdown in 2020.
Whilst the Methodist Church still owns the building, it is currently let to other organisations.
Paignton Community Larder run a foodbank and support groups from the premises.
