Milford United Methodist Free Church

Milford United Methodist Free Church is a plain stone built structure. It was erected in 1859 on a narrow site between a quarry face and the highway.

The side facing the street has three bays and plain square headed windows on two levels. In 1940 and 1970 the building was reported to contain two rooms, a chapel seating 150/160 in pews and a school hall seating 115, probably on separate levels. The entrance was to one side with name and date inscribed on the lintel.

The chapel closed sometime after 1970. At present it appears to be occupied although the user is unclear.
