Gomersal United Methodist Free Churches chapel and school

Gomersal UMFC chapel and school were built in 1889. The building was described in a report of the opening:
“The buildings are of stone, with pitch-pine fittings, and consist of chapel seated for 400 persons, with schools for 250 childtern in the basement. Mr Burrows of Birstall, was the architect, and the outlay has been £1.500”
