Gawber, Wesleyan Methodist Association Chapel was built at an unknown date. In 1851 it provided 170 free and no other sittings. It was also used as a schoolroom
J Woolfe, Yorkshire returns of the 1851 census of religious worship, Vol 3 West Riding, South No.2097
Ed. (PT) The chapel appears on an 1888 OS 25 inch map as a United Methodist Free Church, but not on the 1904 sheet. It is not listed in the Free Methodist Manual of 1898, so we must assume it closed in the early 1890s.
