Creswell, Mansfield Road United Methodist Free Church chapel was built of stone in 1897 and seated 350. A schoolroom and caretaker’s house were added in 1904. No building costs were known in 1923. In 1940 the accommodation consisted of a chapel which seated 400 in pews, a school hall and four other rooms
