Marsh Lane United Methodist Free chapel

Marsh Lane Free United Methodist chapel was on Lightwood Road, just east of what was the George Inn. On the 1896 map it is labelled Free United Methodist; on the 1916 map it is more simply United Methodist, reflecting the creation of the United Methodist connexion in the interim.

The chapel still existed in the 1960s when it was used occasionally by the village Junior School but it has been replaced by a bungalow.
