Clowne St Paul's United Methodist Free Church

Clowne United Methodist Free Church chapel which seated 400 in 1923, and the adjoining school were built of brick in 1894 at a cost of £1700. In 1940 the accommodation consisted of a chapel which seated 300 in pews, a school hall and three other rooms

  • The foundation stone for Clowne UMFC (ii) Chapel was laid on Whit Monday 1894. Besides the chapel there was a Sunday school, vestries and a caretaker’s house. They were situated on the south side of High Street opposite Booten Lane
