  • The return to the 1851 Religious Census (HO129/436/49) states that this building could seat 120. Attendance was 20 adults and 7 children in the afternoon, with 40 adults in the evening. An indication of the disruption caused by the splits in Wesleyan Methodism is that another respondant claimed that this was a Wesleyan chapel.
