The former Wesleyan Methodist Association Chapel which probably closed when the UMFC chapel was built in 1888. In 1895 it was occupied by the Salvation Army

The return to the 1851 Religious Census (HO129/436/49) states that this building could seat 120. Attendance was 20 adults and 7 children in the afternoon, with 40 adults in the evening. An indication of the disruption caused by the splits in Wesleyan Methodism is that another respondant claimed that this was a Wesleyan chapel.
