Paddock MNC Sunday school was built in 1825. By 1851 it was also being used as a place of worship providing an unspecified number of free and 44 other sittings. It is uncertain whether the MNC chapel reported in 1861 was this building or its successor in Church Street but had certainly been closed by 1887
