Belfast Salem Methodist New Connexion chapel

York Street

Belfast Salem Methodist New Connexion chapel in York Street dates from 1839. It replaced a smaller meeting house in the same street.

It was sold to the Methodist Church in Ireland in 1905 for £2,000 and became the headquarters of North Belfast Mission. In 1907 it was renamed The People’s Hall.
