Belfast Ligoniel United Methodist Free Church

The Index of Irish Methodist Churches, Chapels and Preaching Houses reports a United Methodist Free Church chapel in Ligoniel. The chapel was opened in 1868. The builder was Thomas Magee of Ballyclare and the architect was Mr Watters of Belfast.

Two years later, in 1870, the United Methodist Free Church secessionists reunited with the Wesleyan Methodists, who took over the building and debt of £200.

Where was the chapel?  What happened to it and its members?
