Hindley United Methodist Free Church chapel, Lancashire

Hindley United Methodist Free Church chapel was built in 1882. A report of the stone laying stated that
“The building will be 68ft. by 38ft. and will be constructed of York stone, with red pressed brick dressings. The internal fittings will be of pitch pine and seats will be provided in area and gallery for 400 persons. The cost will be abourt £1100. J C Prestwich, of Leigh, Lancs, is the architect”.
