Between 1845 and 1878 the Teetotal Methodists, who joined the Methodist New Connexion in 1852, had a chapel in Halse Town. The story is told on Mapping Methodism
This chapel was in use at the time of the 1851 Religious Census but, as yet, I have not been able to identify a return.
