Jo Lewis adds:
Billy Bray’s Chapel on Kerley Down also know as Three Eyes Chapel because of its windows, this is the second and only remaining chapel of three built by Billy Bray (1794–1868), a renowned Cornish tin miner and local preacher in the ‘Bible Christian’ Methodist denomination.
Billy and his son worked all their spare time to help build the chapel, even after a hard day working the mines. The deed of trust was drawn up dated 4th July, 1836.
