We lived in the cottage also but had to move when my sister was born in 1972, we moved to chase view.
We grew up going to the chapel on Sundays that was run by my grandma Doreen Mason who also played the big organ there. We had concerts there and sat on a made up stand in the corner.
Mr Dawson conducted for us.
Me and my wife visited the chapel and stayed the night there.
Apparently the organ was too big to take out so it was boxed in when they turned it into a b&b.By Mr Ian Mason (07/06/2026)

Hunslet Methodist New Connexion mission chapel and Sunday school, Yorkshire
This is probably the school chapel on Bower Road. The Methodist New Connexion Magazine gives full accounts of the laying of the stones on May 29 1880 and the opening on October 14 1880. They clearly did not hang about in the West Riding.
