A contribution by John Walley to the My Primitive Methodists website here identified a former United Methodist chapel at East Cramlington on Lamb Street.
The chapel backed on to a colliery railway – with the Primitive Methodist chapel the other side of the track on the southern side of Lamb Street. On Google Street View in 2009 and 2020, the United Methodist chapel still stands, in use as Aark Printing and Embroidery.
The chapel belonged to the United Methodist Free church connexion before it joined with other groups to form the United Methodists in 1907. It closed in 1969. It was also known as Cramlington Colliery United Methodist chapel
