Croston United Methodist Free Church chapel was designed by Messrs Longworth and Gardner of Preston, architects, and built in 1875. A report of the opening stated
“It is a plain neat Gothic building (46ft b 31ft. inside) of brick with stone dressings.It will accommodate 250, and has cost , with land and enclosing about £1000”
