Shoreham, High Street chapel

To whom it may concern, I’m trying to find out about a chapel that once stood in the high street in shoreham kent, I know that there is still a chapel in crown road in shoreham but the one in the high street was bull dozed and made way for houses, around about late 60.s early 70.,s, can someone help my quest.   • Thank you for your enquiry. It appears that Shoreham Wesleyan chapel stood in High Street. It was designed by Charles Bell, and opened in 1877. It could seat 200 people. It would appear to have closed in 1966, and the records are in Kent Record Centre.
    Before 1877 a previous Wesleyan chapel stood opposite the end of Church Street.
