Carnkie Bible Christian chapels

Carnkie has two former Bible Christian chapels.  The earlier one, which is a Grade II Listed Building, is located behind the later, larger one. You can see a picture and specification from the listing here.  The listing covers not only the chapel, but also the adjoining former trap-house, earth closet and courtyard walls

The first chapel carries the datestone for 1857. The replacement chapel is inscribed “Bible Christian chapel A.D. 1900” .  The old chapel became the Sunday school room.
