Elizabeth Ann Sinclair (1803-1871) served as a female itinerant preacher between 1824 and 1830. She married fellow preacher Henry Adams on 30 July 1830. The family came to Prince Edward Island in 1832 with Francis Metherall. In 1837 they moved to Upper Canada originally settling in Hope Township, Durham County. Later they moved westward across the province to Huron County then Middlesex County.
