The former Normanby by Spital United Methodist Free Church dates from 1864. Built of pale orange brick with red and white brick and ashlar dressings and some polychromatic work, it has a slate roof. The chapel has an hexagonal end and is single storey Above the window is an inscribed stone declaring “Methodist Free Church”.
It is a Grade II listed building, listed for its value as part of a group. You can see the listing and a picture here
