The former United Methodist Church in Rawenstall dates from 1855-7 and was designed by Noble. Built of ashlar stone on a sloping site, it has a slate roof. It is a Grade II Listed Building and you can see the description and a picture here. The listing contains the following intriguing note – History: promoted by Whitehead brothers of Holly Mount (q.v.) following disagreements at Longholme Methodist Chapel.
