Treveighan Bible Christian chapel

The former Treveighan Bible Christian chapel, at the junction of Chapel Lane with the main road,  is still in 2021 an active Methodist church with 9 members. It carries a datestone for  1828.

It is a Grade II listed Building and you can see the specification and picture here. The Listing tells us that it was built by Edward Hocken, with  walls of stone rubble with granite quoins, rendered on the front and a slate roof with hipped ends. At the far end of the rectangular floor plan is a small carriage house for a horse and trap.

Internally there is a folding wooden plank screen behind the  pulpit dividing chapel and Sunday school.
