We are grateful to Randle Knight, Archivist at the Museum of Primitive Methodism, Englesea Brook for sharing with us this is large group portrait depicting the first Conference of the United Methodist Church, which was held in Wesley’s Chapel in September 1907. Englesea Brook have acquired the photograph from Hartley Victoria College (a merger of the Primitive Methodist and United Methodist Free Churches ministerial training colleges) via the University of Manchester Libraries.
There is no key to the photograph, but a document listing all the attendees is attached
